Creation of a bespoke motif that speaks to the heart of what is Australia. The motif is used across various channels such as digital, collateral and even within the hotel itself. Example from another region shown here.

Our exploration involved the essence of Australia in graphical form: Australian native flora and fauna, geology, geography and First Nations People mythology.

The first motif chosen incorporates the meeting place and the small dots represent animal tracks. The curved shape is reminiscent of ripples in the sand, both in the desert and the coast. The meeting place with floral shapes forms the centre. The edges feature organic shapes derived from Kangaroo Paw flowers.

The second motif has a tight circle of seed pods with a vertical emphasis and looser edge shapes.

The motifs were supplied to Accor for finalization by the global team.
