We are located at Suite 9, 260 Auburn Road Hawthorn, in the former Prentice Builders head office, a landmark example of Brutalist architecture built in 1973. Our open-plan studio overlooks the city skyline and sits within a vibrant, eclectic neighbourhood close to the Melbourne CBD. From this site, KRD serves a high-profile local, national, and international client base, delivering full-service strategic communication and design solutions recognised across the industry.

Our team includes four qualified, experienced designers working full-time, supported by an Accounting Manager and Administration Manager in part-time roles.

About Us

Kym Ramadge graduated from RMIT University in 1992 with a degree in graphic design. After building her expertise across leading agencies and lecturing in graphic design at a tertiary level, she founded KRD Creative Studio in 1995 with a clear conviction that design should do more than look good. It should communicate with purpose.

Over thirty years, the studio has grown through the contributions of a talented team of designers and support staff, each bringing distinct skills and perspectives to our work. Grounded in proven design theory and principles, we approach every brief with both creative rigour and strategic intent, encouraging exploration while always designing with brand integrity, clarity and performance in mind.

We invest continuously in our team’s capabilities across design, production and strategic communication, because the work we do for clients deserves thinking that stays ahead.
