Heidelberg Materials Australia rebrand

Beginning January 2024, KRD Creative Studio have been privileged to work with Heidelberg Materials Australia during their rebrand from Hanson Australia.

Launched in Australia November 12, 2024, the national brand is now aligned with Heidelberg Materials globally.

Heidelberg Materials, formerly HeidelbergCement (rebranded 2022), is a market leader in high-quality low-carbon construction materials. The rebrand is part of an effort to streamline over 200 brands into one unified vision.

Drawing on our years of collaboration with the client, we are successfully implementing the international brand vision and styling throughout the Australian business. This includes local design applications for vehicles, signage, PPE, uniforms, health, safety, environment and quality; merchandise, internal communications, digital assets, photography and social media.

Included in our scope of works is colour management. Working closely with local suppliers to ensure colour accuracy to global standards across a myriad of media is illuminating. Print and paint tests for every imaginable surface/media are tested and approved.

Each aspect of the rebrand is meticulously worked through with the client. The result to date is incredible and has been achieved via the over-and-above input from a dedicated group including the HMA client rebrand team and the national suppliers involved.

There are over 1,000 vehicles on a three-year changeover rollout. Over 270 sites were re-signed. Over 4,000 new uniforms were supplied.

Shown in the images are: Vehicle guidelines, Workwear guidelines, Signage guidelines, HSEQ posters, Chain of Responsibility document, Hello Future character Fred and Hello Future agitator (pre-launch), media backdrop and live launch event, sock designs and the Sustainability charter.

Work continues and we look forward to sharing further updates soon.
